it's not Will!
let's start by saying that i'm the only one who didn't know Will was coming

the doorbell rings at 11pm and, fresh out of a bath, i'm standing in the hall in a towel asking "..guys?" because there is no movement. my mom says "it's Will" so on the second ring i'm wondering why beata hasn't gotten up to get it. i go downstairs to say "door!" and i'm told "no, it's not him!".....seconds later my mom is behind me saying "i'll get it", still under the impression that it is. after another "it's not Will!" she decides to approach more cautiously and all we hear is a muffled "airport... luggage..." before we put it all together.

beata was apparently scared to death, standing in the basement with the phone still in her hand after just having established that Will was in thornhill and on his way

perhaps the family curse is broken? we are now all luggaged again although some of us have entirely new wardrobes..
